There's a lot of activity this week, with a filly moving to the top list, list-shifting by other horses, and a barn-full of deletions as we narrow the pipeline to the Kentucky Derby.
On Fire Baby was promoted from Just In Case after she won the Grade III Honeybee and connections say she is Kentucky Derby-bound. She has the earnings.
Prospective also has the earnings now that he's won the Grade II Tampa Bay Derby. Moved up from Worth Watching.
Battle Hardened was sent down to Worth Watching after a sixth-place finish at Tampa. He has $127,000 in graded stakes earnings.
Fed Biz was relocated to Worth Watching after missing the Grade II San Felipe.
Gemologist was also put on Worth Watching due to the decision to run him in an allowance instead of a stakes race. Looking for a workout from him on Monday. Last worked on March 3.
Rousing Sermon was moved down to Worth Watching after his fifth-place performance in the San Felipe, but he could stilll move back up. He has $170,000 in graded earnings.
Golden Ticket finished a strong second in the Tampa Bay Derby off a maiden win at Gulfstream Park.
Heavy Breathing looks to be headed to the Grade III Spiral off a pair of wins at GP. He wasn't early-nominated to the Triple Crown.
Midnight Transfer was moved up from Just In Case off his third-place finish in the San Felipe, but the report is he was one tired horse after the race.
American Act moves down to Just In Case after being unable to maintain his pace-setting run in the San Felipe.
Empire Way goes to Just In Case after finishing ninth, beaten 21 3/4 lengths by stable mate Creative Cause in the San Felipe. He avoids deletion with trainer Mike Harrington intimating that he'll try again, but not at Santa Anita.
