Incoming Mail Server: pop.sitemasonmail.com
Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.sitemasonmail.com
Username: Your Full Email Address
Password: Your Email Password

SMTP Authentication is now REQUIRED: Use the same username & password as your incoming mail server.  If you aren't sure what this means, please view the tutorials above for your specific email client.

Webmail: webmail.sitemasonmail.com.

Spam: Spam filters can be configured through webmail. A PDF manual of Sitemason Webmail, including detailed instructions for using all the more advanced spam settings, is available here [PDF].

Admin: Create Mailboxes and Aliases, login as users, and manage accounts.  You can download a tutorial for using the admin interface here [PDF]. If you aren't sure if you have an email admin account, contact support and they will set you up with an account if you don't already have one.

Users with an email admin account can login here.

Troubleshooting: If you are getting email errors or bouncebacks when trying to communicate through email, it is extremely helpful to provide the headers of the emails that are proving troublesome.  If possible, please try and forward your email headers when contacting Sitemason support.  If you aren't sure what headers are or how to get them, follow this link for instructions.

Bulk Email: In order to help ensure prompt and successful email delivery without it being throttled or flagged as spam, we do not allow bulk mail to be sent from our mail servers and we do not support the automated sending of email (eg. web forms or transactional receipts).

We consider bulk mail to be mail of identical or similar content sent to 250 or more addresses external to the Rackspace network. This also includes the sending of the same or similar message more than 250 times to a single external email address (eg. a monitoring alert system). Breaking up mass mailings and sending them in smaller batches to intentionally avoid this restriction is also a violation of the AUP.
