Changing Mail Settings in Mozilla Thunderbird

Here you will find detailed instructions for changing your server settings in Mozilla Thunderbird.  If you have already coordinated with Sitemason Technical Support and your domain has been moved to the new email service, please follow the steps below to configure Thunderbird for the new mail server settings.
 
1. Open Thunderbird and go to Tools > Account Settings...





2. In the options list of the Account Settings page, go to "Server Settings."  Change the Server Name to pop.sitemasonmail.com.





3. In the options list on the left, then go to Outgoing Server (SMTP).  Select your outgoing server (it will most likely be either smtp.sitemason.com or smtp.moses.com) and click "Edit."





4. In the following SMTP Server window, change your "Server Name" to smtp.sitemasonmail.com and make sure to check "Use name and password" under the Secuirty Authentication section, and click OK.





5.  You should see that your outgoing server has changed.  Simply click "OK" and you are finished.
