Changing Mail Settings in Outlook Express

Here you will find detailed instructions for changing your server settings in Outlook Express.  If you have already coordinated with Sitemason Technical Support and your domain has been moved to the new email service, please follow the steps below to configure Outlook Express for the new mail server settings.

 
1. Open Outlook Express and go to Tools > Accounts...





2. Select your Sitemason email account and click "Properties."  This will most likely be named either pop.sitemason.com or pop.moses.com.




3. Change your Mail Account name to "pop.sitemasonmail.com" and click "Apply."





4. Go to the "Servers" tab at the top of the Properties window and change your Incoming Mail (POP3) to pop.sitemasonmail.com and your Outgoing Mail (SMTP) to smtp.sitemasonmail.com.  Your account name and password will remain the same unless you've elected to change your password in the move.

Under the "Outgoing Mail Server" section at the bottom of the Properties window, be sure to select "My server requires authentication."  Click "Apply" then click "OK" and you're done.
