Changing Mail Settings in Outlook 2003

Here you will find detailed instructions for changing your server settings in Outlook 2003.  If you have already coordinated with Sitemason Technical Support and your domain has been moved to the new email service, please follow the steps below to configure Outlook 2003 for the new mail server settings.

1. Open Outlook and go to Tools > Email Accounts...

2. Select "View or change existing e-mail accounts" and click "Next."

3. Select your email account and click "Change."  This will most likely be named either pop.sitemason.com or pop.moses.com

4. In the following "Internet E-mail Settings (POP3)" screen, you will be changing the information under the "Server Information" section.  Change your Incoming Mail Server to pop.sitemasonmail.com and your Outgoing Mail Server to smtp.sitemasonmail.com.  Your account name and password will remain the same unless you've elected to change your password in the move.  Now click "More Settings..."

5. In the More Settings window, go to the "Outgoing Server" tab and select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and use the default selection "Use same settings as my incoming mail server."  Click "OK."

6. Back at the Internet E-mail Settings (POP3) page, click "Next >" at the bottom.

7. You'll be taken back to the main E-mail Accounts page.  You should now see that your account name has changed to pop.sitemasonmail.com.  Click "Finish" at the bottom, and you are done.
