Become a Volunteer Mediator with NCRC!


If you are already a trained Rule 31 mediator - or have received a minimum of 30 hours basic mediation training - and would like to volunteer in our programs, please download, fill out, and return our 
Volunteer Mediator Application Form. We hold regular Orientation programs to introduce trained mediators to our range of programs and opportunities.




NCRC Community Mediation Training
(Rule 31 General Civil)

The next 40-hour Community Mediation Training (Rule 31 Civil) will be held in the Fall of 2012. Dates and application information should be posted by July 2012.



NCRC Civil-to-Family Mediation Training
(Rule 31 Family)

The next 30-hour Civil-to-Family Crossover Mediation Training (Rule 31 Family) will be held in the Spring of 2012. This is for mediators who have completed their General Civil mediation training and wish to become Family certified as well. Dates and application information should be posted by March 2012.








A limited number of full & partial scholarships are available each training.  Please review the application for information.  Scholarships are made possible with support from Baker Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz Law Firm.
