Caprice For Three
Caprice For Three (1997) by Mark O'Connor is a follow-up to the six Caprices for solo violin that appear on his album Midnight On The Water. This piece was also intended as a virtuoso theme for fiddle before O'Connor transformed it for virtuoso string trio on the Sony Classical album Appalachian Journey. The CD reached the number one position on Billboard's Classical Crossover music chart.
