The Records Section handles all reports generated by the police department.  When officers in the 
field gather information, whether by patrol officers responding to calls for service, detectives investigating crime, or officers acting in other capacities, departmental records are completed and forwarded to Records.  Our purpose and goal is to provide 100% customer satisfaction to both our internal and external requests.  

This is done by storing, retrieving, reproducing and delivering reports for all requests as quickly as possible.  Within our web page you will find answers to commonly asked questions, the cost of reports, types of reports and directions to our office.  The hours of the Records Section are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (with the exception of holidays).

The Records/Data Entry Department provides the Citizens of Goodlettsville with fast friendly service for police reports or accident report copies.  We try to treat people like we would want someone to treat our family if they needed assistance, and most of the time folks appreciate our hometown attention.  Our Records/Data Entry people, Kim Campbell, Linda Evans and Tim Hitt (with 22 years combined service) treat every request with the urgency and professionalism that bring smiles and compliments on a daily basis.
