Terry Hutcherson
Terry Hutcherson has served the city since 1979. Prior to becoming a Goodlettsville patrolman, he served as Deputy Sheriff in Sumner County.
In 1982, Terry was promoted to Sergeant, where he served until 1987, when he became Captain in the Patrol and CID divisions. Terry was promoted to Chief in 1991.
A Nashville native, Terry graduated from Maplewood High School in 1972. He holds degrees from Austin Peay State University (A.S., 1991), the State University of New York (B.S., 1995) and Cumberland University (M.S., 1999)
Professionally, Terry is a member of the Tennessee and International Associations of Chiefs of Police.
Terry and his wife, Mona, reside in Gallatin.
