Blakemore offers adults a variety of opportunities for growth through study and interaction with other growing Christians. Although primary audiences are indicated for each class, all classes are open to anyone who wishes to participate. Invite a friend to join you for the class of your choice.
Sunday Morning, 9:30-10:15 a.m.
* Friendship/Fellowship and Pathfinders Class. Room 207. A nurturing community formed to study, work together in outreach and fellowship with each other. Special studies selected for periods of 12-15 weeks. Interactive study time seeks personal experiences through discussion of the application of the selected study. Led by class members and guest leaders.
* Serendipity Class, Room 202. A Bible study group with shared leadership and discussion oriented lessons that thrives on diverse thought and active participation.
* Genesis Class, Room 204. A topical, “around the table,” discussion-oriented class ranging from Bible study to open and spirited discussion of topics of interest to class members. Special studies are selected for periods of 12-15 weeks. Led by class members.
* Open Door, "Bride's Room". A class specifically geared toward persons with learning needs. Led by a core group of church members.
* Rosetta Stone Class, Room 203. A gathering of diverse adults seeking a spiritual path guided by thought-provoking study of the scriptures, spiritual writings and topical issues. Group discussion facilitated by class leaders for selected periods.
* Sunday Table Talk, Fellowship Hall. An informal gathering of adults to "build community" around a cup of coffee and discussion on issues, ideas and challenges for Christians.
* Young Adults, Room 205. A gathering geared toward the needs and interests of young adults interested in devoting time during the week to grow in spirit and to share fellowship with their peers.
Following Worship join us in Fellowship Hall for “Mugs and Hugs, an informal time of fellowship and an opportunity to greet our visitors. Coffee, tea, juice, and pastries.
