Title: Palace Hill Monaco May 2007 Project: The best paintings I did on our cruise were in Monaco. This view of a centuries old fort leading up to the modern palace was done from the ship's stern in dock. It was raining the morning I did this painting and the wind kept whipping the ship's Dutch flag into view.

Title: Colorado River Grand Canyon, AZ October 2004 Project: This is looking down at the Colorado River from Mojave Point, right at sunset. Almost everything in the river gorge was in shadow but the river itself was a slash of white.

Title: Maricopa Point Grand Canyon, AZ October 2004 Project: This is looking west from Maricopa Point on the South Rim of the Canyon. The Wind was blowing directly in my face at about 50mph. Not the ideal location to draw, but I like this image of one of the Temples.
