MABSSCO
serving young adults since 1971
The Mid-American Baptist Social Service Corporation, also known as MABSSCO, is a ministry of the Mid-American Baptist Churches (www.mid-abc.org), an association of American Baptist Chuches in Minnesota and Iowa. Since, 1971, MABSSCO has worked with young people to build foundations for healthy independent living. We are a trusted, flexible, and responsive partner in providing caring and effective professional services. We incorporate research-based tools and methods in our work, use restorative practices, the Signs of Safety framework and other approaches to reach effective outcomes with young adults.
MABSSCO is a member of the American Baptist Homes and Caring Ministries (www.abhcm.org) and the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (www.mncn.org). MABSSCO residential programs are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Corrections under Minnesota Rule 2960 as Group Residential Facilities certified to provide Corrections Services and to use restrictive procedures.
