Community Relations

2007 Partnership - Habitat for Humanity

The Middle Tennessee ASTD chapter is excited to offer opportunities that can lead individuals to competence and fulfillment. This year the chapter is partnering with Habitat for Humanity and the June lunch meeting will showcase the chapter’s collaboration with this partner.  The luncheon includes a tour of Habitat’s facility and newly expanded family learning center.  A builder family member will be present to share their experience of preparing to own a new home. Volunteer opportunities as a course designer or facilitator of Habitat coursework classes will be offered to the ASTD community. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills or share your experience.

Lunch will be provided for all those who register in advance. This special meeting is designed to build connections for all those interested in increasing in sharing their expertise in the adult education arena, or helping others in the community.
