Rhythm and Spirit provides children the opportunity to receive instruction from highly skilled, professional instructors without the expense and restrictions of private studios.

Facility Closures
In Observance of President's Day, all facilities of Williamson County Parks and Recreation
will be closed on Monday, February 20.
Facilities will reopen at their regularly scheduled times on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department’s 50% off sale on all-county 30-visit passes has been extended through the month of February, so don’t miss out on this chance to save! Multi-visit passes offer general admission to indoor facilities at a discounted rate. If purchased by February 29, the all-county 30-visit pass is only $30. That is a 50% savings over the regular 30-visit pass price and 66% off the single visit general admission rate! Multi-visit passes never expire and are transferable to other family members or guests. Visit passes may not be used for outdoor pool admission or classes.
Multi-visit passes are for sale and can be used at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road; the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Drive; the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Boulevard; and the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, 920 Heritage Way.

Daddy's Lil Princess Ball

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department proudly presents our Daddy’s Lil’ Princess Ball! Girls, ages 4 to 12, bring your Dad, Step-Dad, Uncle or Grandpa to this magical evening and “royal” dance. You will enjoy the Court Jester’s latest musical hits and fun games as well as delicious refreshments fit for a queen! Each princess will receive a real rhinestone tiara and a special picture with her “prince” to remember this very special evening.
The cost is $15 per couple and $5 for each additional girl. Space is limited and reservations are first come first served until full. Payment must be made within 5 days of registration. Registration may be made in person or by speaking with a receptionist.
The Princess Ball at the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Boulevard, will be held Saturday, February 18 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. To register or for more information call (615) 799-9331.

Group Fitness Open House in Spring Hill

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce its Group Fitness Open House on Saturday, February 18 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the Longview Recreation Center, 2909 Commonwealth Drive in Spring Hill.
February is American Heart Awareness Month. Celebrate by participating in this free and fun event! Come alone or bring a friend and participate in a great workout that will really get your heart pumping. Take this opportunity to meet our fantastic team of fitness motivators as they demonstrate and guide you to starting a regular exercise regimen. The Group Fitness Open House is FREE, and no registration is required. Door prizes and refreshments will follow the workout.

Fairview Youth Softball
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to announce open registration for the Fairview Youth Softball League at the Fairview Recreation Complex, 2714 Fairview Boulevard. The league will provide a fun and exciting atmosphere to engage in the game of softball. This league is open to girls between the ages of 7 to 17. The birthday cutoff date is September 30, 2011. Registration ends February 11.
Space is limited. The registration fee is $50 per player, and the uniform fee is $30. Late registration will be held February 13-18, and there is a $20 late fee. There will be a uniform try-on date February 11. Practices begin on February 27, and games begin on March 24. Volunteer coaches are needed. Youth Volleyball
The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department continues registration for recreational youth volleyball leagues for fourth through twelfth graders through February 17.
Registration forms are available at the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, 920 Heritage Way and at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road. Practices begin March 5. Match play will run from March 24 – May 12. Practices will be held at area schools and matches will be played at Academy Park gym (old BGA campus) in Franklin. Adult Flag Football
Williamson County Parks and Recreation continues registration for adult flag football leagues at the Indoor Arena at Crockett Park, 1485 Volunteer Parkway in Brentwood and the Robert A. Ring Indoor Arena, 1878 Downs Boulevard in Franklin. Register before February 20 for either the pro league or recreational league. The team fee is $425.
