To Friends of The Public Forum:

For those who have kindly written in efforts of support over the course of these past few months, I write today to give you an overdue update regarding the status of The Public Forum.

First, our thanks to so many of you who continue to write and call with inquiries about the future of Teddy Bart's Round Table. We are sorry to inform you that The Round Table will not be returning to the air. We kicked around several ideas immediately following the demise of the program last July. However, in light of the current broadcasting climate, none of them were feasible.

Having made that decision the new board of directors charged me with the challenge of exploring other ways and means and opportunities in which The Public Forum can continue to fulfill its mission. This I have been doing since the beginning of this year. We have continued to maintain this web site specifically to keep you informed of any developments regarding future plans as well a vehicle for information when and if a new direction is determined for The Public Forum. 

Meanwhile, speaking on behalf of Teddy as well as myself, we want to thank you for your ongoing interest in our future.
