Empowerment Network offers a wide range of technical assistance and facilitation services. Technical assistance includes efforts such as participating in symposia and work groups, multi-day visits to disability programs and services with observations and recommendations, review and comment on materials, training and policy, meetings with Boards of Directors, Staff, Committes, Families, Self-Advocates and others to move organizations toward achievement of goals.
Experienced staff facilitate focus groups to identify problems, needs and gaps in services, develop goals and solutions to improve services and agencies, and create visions for the future and related action plans.
Topics for technical assistance have varied widely including areas, such as self-advocacy and self-determination, choice, values and respect, consumer-directed planning, individual and systemic advocacy, community supports, criminal justice issues, volunteer management, non-profit management, fund raising, voucher-based rural transportation, staff motivation, public relations, and much more.
All technical assistance services are fee-based. Fees and expenses vary depending on the type and scope of services requested. For more information, contact
