With wings spread in the freedom of flight, the magnificent eagle embodies the dignity, strength, courage and potential that lie within each of us. These far-reaching values underscore our belief that ALL people, including those with severe disabilities, have the right to experience value, empowerment and contribution through inclusive lives.
Empowerment Network Unlimited, Inc. is
a national private non-profit IRS charitable 501 (c)(3) corporation
that seeks to empower people to soar beyond disability labels to reach
their dreams.
Empowerment Network was founded by Executive Director and lead consultant Nancy Sullivan to provide value-based information, training, conference keynotes, publication development, proposal development, program technical assistance and other services to help people with disabilities, families, advocates, direct care staff, program administrators and others to achieve quality, inclusive lifestyles. Empowerment offers a comprehensive personal empowerment training curriculum called Go for the Gold: Empowerment for Life that provides trainers printed masters of overheads, worksheets and handouts. It includes six modules on empowerment, attitude, communication, people power, making choices and advocacy. Order information is provided on the Publications page. Empowerment Network is funded through grants, contracts for services and donations. Services provided, such as training, publication and proposal development and facilitation are fee-based. Fees are set based on the specifics of the work requested and anticipated expenses. Donations are most welcomed and tax-deductible. Donations help to support the development of training materials to empower individuals with developmental and other disabilities and their families. We are presently working on enabling donations via the Internet. You may also make donations with checks or money-orders to Empowerment Network, P. O. Box 250254, Little Rock, AR 72225. All donations are 100% tax deductible. Donations help us to continue working to promote inclusive lifestyles for all people with disabilities, regardless of the level of severity of their condition. We are happy to acknowledge memorials and tributes. Please include the name of the individual, whether it is a memorial for someone who has passed on, or a tribute to someone living and the name and address of the person(s) we should notify regarding your contribution.

It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. -- Robert F. Kennedy (1925-1968) Speech, South Africa, 1966
