Thanks for coming today.

I realize the seriousness of this matter. I want to apologize to my teammates, coaches, and this organization for putting myself in a situation of this magnitude. This is another hurdle I just have to jump over, but I will bounce back. I would like to thank my teammates for being concerned and my family and friends that are supporting me at this time.

I can’t really talk about the significance of what happened last night because of the legal matter. I’ll leave that up to my lawyers to discuss any other questions about that.

This is something that I didn’t think would ever happen, but this is something that we’ll just have to deal with, and I will, like I said, with the support of my teammates, coaches, family, and friends. But I will get over it. And like I said, I apologize, especially to my fans and the kids that look up to me. This is something that you don’t usually see out of me, but I put myself in this situation. I just have to get out of it and I will bounce back from this.
