Heym, Germany. Magnificent sidelock, “Elephant Stopper”, double rifle in .600 N.E., ca. 2000.  Weight: 15 ½ Lbs. with 2 rounds chambered (15 Lbs. with empty chambers). Stock dimensions: 14 ¾”x 1 ¼”x 2 ¼”x 1/8” cast-off.  Superb 24” barrels with ¾-rib, and mint bores. Single fixed rear sight to 100 yds., two folding leaves out to 300 yds., and ramp front sight.  Massive, beautifully sculpted and reinforced, sidelock action with double underlugs and hidden third-fastener. Note top action tang extends back over the comb of the butt stock.  Modern, German-engineered, flawlessly designed, pinless sidelocks with intercepting safety sears. Double triggers, automatic safety, and ejectors. Stunning game scene engraving by M. Richter. Highly figured pistol-grip stock, with good straight grain through the wrist, and matching forend. Beautifully engraved, flawlessly engineered, mechanically perfect, deadly accurate (as the attached target will attest),  remaining in mint condition throughout. One of the most accurate large-bore double rifles I have ever held in my hands and Ready for Africa!
