The Goodlettsville Streets & Highways Department is responsible for routine maintenance of our street infrastructure system and more.  

Streets and Highways handle:

Pavement maintenance
Guardrail maintenance
Shoulder repairs
Street sign & pavement marking 
Traffic signal repair and maintenance
School zone marking 
Drain installation, repair & marking
Inspections of existing and new construction of streets
Litter pick up
Mowing and trimming of vegetation on public right-of-ways
Snow and ice removal
Street cleaning
Street sign installation and repair
Street light maintenance
Conduct traffic studies and surveys

We also handle routine chipper service for our residents' brush and small tree disposal.
