Charles Moore, London. Incredible 19-bore double barreled flintlock sporting gun, ca. 1823. Weight: 6 Lbs. 7 oz.  Stock Dimensions: 13 ¾”x 1 3/8”x 2 ¼”x straight. Superb 30” Damascus barrels retaining all the beautiful brown finish have absolutely brilliant, mint, bores. Please note that the pans are attached to and are, as a result, integral with the breeches. The pan covers have replaceable platinum gaskets that give a totally waterproof seal in damp weather. Also notice that Chas. Moore succeeded where most other designs failed in creating a waterproof pan in which there is no significant increase distance for the flash to travel from pan to chamber. Locks remain in pristine condition throughout. Beautifully engraved. Stock retains all the original finish. Overall this magnificent gun remains in virtually unused condition throughout and is one of the finest British double flint sporting guns you will see offered for sale. Simply the Best of the Best!
