Robert Dugard, Birmingham.  Very fine .48 cal. Percussion pocket pistol, ca. 1835.  Overall length 9 ½”.  Octagonal, 4 ½”, Damascus barrel with excellent bore retains much of the original finish. Nicely engraved action with original captive ramrod retains some of the original finish. The walnut stock is very nicely checkered and retains virtually all the original finish. Silver wrist escutcheon with crest should be researched. Overall a very fine condition little pocket pistol.
