Sheri's Bright Idea Tips for a Beautiful, More Organized You

Women are beautiful and unique. We wear many hats and we multitask like the wind. We’re stressed, pressed and need to be in three places at once. How can we look our best and feel great? Here are some health and beauty organizing aids to help you look and feel great, whether you're staying in or going out.

Toiletries

We love our lotions, hair products and make-up. Let’s make them work for us!
  • “Herd” your lotions together, your shampoos together, your lipsticks together, skin care, mani/pedi care, etc. Look at each group. Too many? Never use? Don’t like? Too old? Toss them.
  • Find a great basket or fun caddy to hold each group of products. Look at how many items you’re keeping and buy containers to fit. Remember to store items that can leak in plastic containers for easy clean up.
  • Store items you rarely use at the back of the drawer, shelf, or cabinet, leaving frequently used items nearby.
Accessories

Let’s sort our bobbles, bangles, and bling so we can quickly accessorize any outfit.
  • Use a men’s tie rack or belt rack hung on your closet wall to hang necklaces and bracelets. Silverware trays made of wood or plastic make great drawer storage compartments.
  • Turn a louvered window shutter upside down. This allows you to hang multiple pairs of hook earrings in each louver, and it looks great! Consider hanging a shutter on each side of a mirror.
  • Store your large bangle bracelets and large beaded necklaces in the plastic pockets of an “over the door” craft organizer bag.
With simple containment and a quick sort, we can quickly find our favorite products and accessories, keeping us beautiful and healthy!
