Household Hazardous Waste
Household hazardous waste is defined as corrosive, flammable, toxic, or reactive material used in the home, vehicle, garden and lawn that can contaminate soil and water when dumped along with non-toxic waste.
Household Cleaners: Drain openers, oven cleaners, wood and metal cleaners and polishes, toilet bowl cleaners and disinfectants.
Automotive Products: Oil and fuel additives, grease and rust solvents; air conditioning refrigerants, starter fluids, body putty, antifreeze, waste oil, carburetor and fuel injector cleaners.
Lawn and Garden Products: Herbicides, pesticides, fungicides and wood preservatives; paint thinner, paint, paint strippers and removers, and adhesives.

Miscellaneous: Batteries, fingernail polish remover, pool chemicals, photo processing chemicals, medicines, electrical capacitors, pressurized gas bottles, gas tanks and gas cans, commercial or industrial waste, barrels, tires, wire or fencing, steel gutters, infectious waste, combustible materials, rock, dirt, brick, or masonry.
