![]() Residential Chipper Service The City of Goodlettsville provides brush chipper service to assist residents who need to clear out or trim up brush, shrubs, small trees, etc. You do not have to call in to request this service. The chipper crew will pass through your area on a routine basis and will remove brush placed at the street. Normally, the chipper will be in your neighborhood once every 14 working days. This schedule, however, may be delayed following severe weather due to heavy chipping loads. Please note that if you paid a contractor to trim for you, it is their responsibility to haul off the debris. All brush (tree limbs, shrubbery and hedge trimmings) must be placed at curbside or street side adjacent to the front property line. The cut ends of all limbs should be facing the street. Limb size should not exceed six (6) inches in diameter or ten (10) feet in length. The trunks or limbs of trees measuring six (6) inches or more in diameter shall be cut into lengths of no more than two (2) feet. No item should weigh more than 75 pounds. All brush shall be neatly stacked in an unscattered manner. Brush shall not be placed on top of water / gas meters or valves, piled against utility poles, fences, or any item which could be damaged by collection equipment. |
