Stock Dimensions: 14 ¼”x 1 3/8”x 2 ½”x ¼” cast-off. 29” Damascus barrels with some original finish have good bores (.720”/.720”) and minimum wall thickness (.028”/.029”). Locks are nicely engraved, mechanically perfect, and show traces of original color hardening. Beautifully figured stock with sharp checkering and has a beautiful rich patina and shows little wear. Two slivers of wood missing from left forend. Original gold shield at the wrist with the initials, “JDL”. Overall peerless quality throughout and a very nice muzzle-loading shotgun.
