Vicky Beeching

An Oxford-educated songwriter who’s been writing worship songs for the church for more than 11 years, Vicky Beeching’s unique brand of theology-rich worship that rocks, stands up to the innovation, depth and passion of contemporaries like Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Tim Hughes and David Crowder. And yet, something sets her apart. Perhaps it’s her singular focus that belies her years. Perhaps it’s her intuitive feminine heart that relates to worshipers with such sensitivity. Perhaps it’s her willingness to take risks while holding on to her life mission: to grow in intimacy with Jesus. Maybe it’s Vicky’s desire to do more than express her own heart through singing and recording that is so compelling. She explains simply, “My number one goal is to help people connect with God.”

As the years pass, Vicky sees an even bigger calling to use her gifts to teach the next generation, especially other young women. And, her artistic approach is more than modern…more than culturally relevant. It has deep roots. “It’s so important to me to write lyrics with excellent theology because I believe songwriting is one of the most powerful vehicles for communicating truth to this
media-based generation, so I take it really seriously.”

Vicky thinks forward, not on the possibilities of success and acclaim, but in expectation of a larger, more important feat ahead, in which faithfulness is the key. “I have long had a real expectation of God wanting to do more in worship than we’re accustomed to,” she continues. “Within evangelicalism and in the church, I believe we will see the power of God break out in a way that significantly, dramatically changes people’s lives. Through worship, people will come to faith, as they hear from God in the music.”

Vicky’s current release is called Yesterday, Today and Forever. She is on tour this fall with Rebecca St. James on the SHE Tour and in the studio creating new music, scheduled to release in the spring of 2007.

Charmaine

Charmaine is a beautiful and talented young Australian who brings to the SHE conferences a passionate heart for God, and a heritage of ministry. She was born in the United States while her parents were on tour with their music ministry, Endless Praise (EP), one of only two professional full-time music ministries in Australia at the time. She grew up on the road immersed in worship music and ministry, and for the past several years she has reached millions around the world from her platform of touring and performing with Rebecca St. James.

Releasing her debut, self titled album into the U.S. market in August of 2002, the first radio single from the project, “All In All,” was in the top 10 on the CHR Charts for 14
consecutive weeks. She has begun working on her second project to be released in 2006.

Charmaine’s reach into ministry has extended beyond her music as she was featured in Lifeway’s series FUEL, released in December 2004, as a visual Bible study guide for teenagers. The experience provided yet another opportunity to expand her ministry reach to her peers with the message of Christ whether through her music, her story telling, or the beautiful spirit that shines the minute Charmaine steps onto the stage.
