Wilkins, Birmingham. Exceptionally rare SxS boxlock .410ga. shotgun with extra set of double rifle barrels in .22 LR.  Weight with .410ga, barrels: 3 lbs. 15 oz.  Weight with .22 LR barrels: 4 lbs. 14 oz. Stock Dimensions: 14 ½”x 1 3/8”x 2 5/8”x ¼” cast-off.  The .410ga. Barrels are 26” long with 3” chambers and chokes of .005”/.010”. The superb, chopper lump, .22 LR rifle barrels are 26” long and have a quarter rib with single fixed rear sight and two folding leaf sights with ramp front sight. Best boxlock action with gold plated internals retains all the hardening colors and is very nicely game scene engraved with figures of stags surrounded by traditional English scroll. Double triggers and ejectors. Beautiful darkly figured straight-grip stock and splinter forend with checkered butt. Overall the gun appears to be little used and comes in it’s original case.
