"Today was the first time I used the Longshank spinnerbait.  As you can see, it paid off.  I have tried a bunch of spinnerbaits in my life and have not had this type of luck before."

My husband and I were recently on a fishing trip down on Lake Okeechobee. Our guide quickly introduced us to your spinnerbaits. In no time at all we were catching fish as quickly as we could cast! This being only my second fishing experience ever, I must say between your incredible spinnerbaits our great guide, and the patience of my wonderful husband you guys have created a hard core fisherman! Never having fished like this for bass, I couldn’t believe how easy it was to catch fish on your bait. We caught them all day long, but I’m proud to say that this 4 pound largemouth bass I caught was the biggest between my husband and I!

Here is a photo I have sent you of the spotted bass I caught out of my neighbors pond that I caught on one of your spinnerbaits.  Although it may not look that big, it was big enough to qualify for West Virginia ’s trophy fish citation program for spotted bass. I caught this bass while retrieving The Longshank parallel to the outside edge of the hyacinths behind me in the picture.  I know another spinnerbait would not have caught this fish because when I landed it I found that the bait was turned around backward, upside down with the hook going through the gill plate and running out of the corner of the mouth, with the hook bend the only thing holding the fish.  The Longshank is by far the best spinnerbait I’ve ever used as I have already caught several other bass that would never have been caught on any other spinnerbait.  Thanks for making such a great bait!

I LOVE THESE BAITS!!! They've really changed how I look at fishing spinnerbaits, and now that I don't have to use a trailer hook I've been able to widen my range of fishing spinnerbaits to running them in heavy cover, laydowns, underwater brush, ect. with confidence. The hook on this bait is really one of a kind, I've never seen anything like it. It completely eliminates the need for a trailer hook, and at the same time it does the same job a trailer hook does but twice as good. The length of this hook is what I really like about the bait, I doubt I'll ever have a bass short-strike my spinnerbait again. The way this bait comes through the water is amazing, it never flips over or runs on its side, it stays true bass after bass. The first bass I caught on one of these spinnerbaits was 5.5 lbs, but it fought like a double digit. The bait held up perfectly through the fight. I'm sure there are many things I'll be doing with this bait nobody would attempt with any other spinnerbait!

Just wanted to write you a letter and let you know how valuable your spinnerbaits have become to me. As a serious tournament angler, I can’t stress enough how important gaining that extra advantage is. Your spinnerbaits have produced for me so many times in the short time that I’ve been fishing them. I have two tournament wins so far that I can thank the Longshank for! Here are a couple of pictures from those two tournament wins. My biggest fish on the Longshank so far is this big 8lber that I know I would have NEVER caught had I been fishing a regular spinnerbait! It was a post cold front day, as you can tell by the washed out blue-bird skies in the picture. As happens a lot of times after a cold front, the fish just didn’t want to cooperate. It was a tough day and any strikes I did get had to count. I had already caught a few keepers but really needed that kicker fish, and that’s when it happened! I hooked into this big old sow and knew I had a good fish. But once I had successfully boated her, it was then that I realized how different your spinnerbaits were. That big 8lber was actually hooked on the outside of her mouth. Having fished in post cold front conditions many times, I had seen this happen several times while fishing a Rat-L-Trap or other crankbait, but never on a spinnerbait. That fish had just slapped at my bait with her mouth closed, and really had no intention to eat it. With any other spinnerbait I would have never caught that fish. But the hook design of the Longshank really reached out and grabbed her! She ended up being the kicker fish I needed to win the tournament, and also won me a big fish! You’ve got a customer for life!

I first saw your spinnerbait at a tournament that I was fishing last year. One of the guys there was really bragging about this new bait that had helped him catch a big sack of fish. After talking to him for a while I decided I needed to give them a try. I have since caught hundreds of fish on your baits and it has caused me to do what I thought could never be done, I have given up my Terminators!! The long shaft of the hook is amazing! I really thought it would hang up more but it’s as weedless as any spinnerbait I’ve ever fished. As a matter of fact sometimes I forget that the hook is different until I get a fish in and see how well the fish is hooked! I never used a trailer hook because I couldn’t fish it in heavy cover without constantly hanging. What you guys say about your baits is true. You get the advantages of a trailer hook without having to worry about hanging up when fishing the bait in heavy cover! You name it, I’ve reeled this bait through it. This 6 ½ pound bass was the largest of a 19.75lb sack that won me my first Tournament ever this year! I caught all but one of them on a Longshank! Great Spinnerbait…

Being a professional fisherman and guide on Lake Okeechobee and surrounding lakes for over 20 years, I have seen it all, and fished it all, or so I thought! The first time I saw this bait I thought to myself, “How in the world haven’t I already thought of this!”. Everything about the Longshank Spinnerbait just makes perfect sense. My biggest concern, seeing this bait for the first time was, will it remain weedless with that longer hook. It didn’t take me long to answer that question. Okeechobee has no peer when it comes to aquatic vegetation, but your Longshank Spinnerbaits glide thru grass like a warm knife thru butter, yet this bait reaches out and grabs even those fish that just look at it. What better way to prove itself than with a catch like this the very first time out. In case you can't tell, I'm extremely excited about this bait. You can bet that I'll be working with it again tomorrow and the day after, and the day after that. I'm still waiting to miss a bass on this bait. Even one that just comes close to grabbing it like several did Friday including this 6 pounder. I honestly look for this bait to win some awards for innovation. Possibly even "best new bait of the year". It's that good!
