I mean, if all council members were as diligent with these types of requests as Councilwoman Emily Evans (The Fightin' 23rd!), Councilman Jason Holleman (The Fightin' 24th!), and Councilman Mike Jameson (The Fightin' 6th!) then we'd have one happy, snappy city! That said, tonight's 500 foot swim, which is scheduled for 5:00pm at Riverfront Park, has already served its purpose - prompting Nashvillians to start chattering about the state of the river and its environs.
