ReceptionistESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be constructed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
· Answers all incoming calls in a professional manner using a telephone console or switchboard; locates individuals, takes messages if necessary; may receive/transmit fax messages;
· Greets and gives directions or information to residents, personnel, visitors, guests and vendors;
· Performs filing and general clerical duties; may type correspondence, reports and/or other assignments for various departments;
· Balances and manages cashbox and receives payment for incidental purchases by residents or employees;
· Maintains current files of emergency information on all residents;
· Posts memorial notices;
· Notifies security of any problems;
· May operate postage machine and prepare mail for pick-up and forwarding mail;
· May type newsletter and menu for Department of Dining Services;
· Relates messages via two way radio and pager system;
· Sorts mail; signs for packages and contacts appropriate person;
· Performs emergency call procedures according to established policy;
· May post charges for dining room, tray service and beauty shop to resident accounts;
· Attends in-service training workshops and meetings as required;
· Provides effective and courteous service to all residents, guests and co-workers;
· Performs other related essential duties as required.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCEHigh school graduate or equivalent preferred; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. MDS Coordinator (Must be an RN)ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

o Reviews MDS and updates care plan to reflect current MDS; enters information into computer;
o Updates computer with new care plans and MDS;
o Audits charts and physician medication and treatment sheets;
o Coordinates and assigns completion of Minimum Data Sets Resident Assessment Plans and Triggers of each resident within 14 days of admission;
o Interfaces with all involved parties, including residents and/or families to complete plan of care within 7 days after assessment;
o Schedules, coordinates and chairs or attends patient care plan meetings; invites residents and family members or responsible parties;
o Enters and maintains assessment information into computer;
o May check on operating condition on equipment;
o May respond to emergency situations as needed;
o Attends in-service training workshops and meetings as required;
o Provides effective and courteous service to all residents, guests and co-workers;
o Promotes and protects the rights of each resident;
o Performs other related essential duties as required.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Registered Nurse (RN) and one to two years prior related experience.
Nurse Educator (RN)Driver - (On-call) Must have Class B License
