This Wednesday Night
New children's programming begins - Water U Doing? (K-6)

First Sunday Breakfast on June 7, 9:00 a.m. Fellowship Hall
Hosted by the Men's Class (aka "The Roosters")


July is “A Season of Renewal”
To give some of our teachers a short sabbatical and to try something
different and energizing, we will take the month of July to renew
ourselves on Sundays and Wednesdays with the following changes. If
you’ve ever wanted to sing in the choir or sing with younger and older
family members and church friends, this summer is your opportunity!

Sundays:
•    Most Adult Sunday School classes will take a break, and give
Children, Youth and Adults a chance to take part in the
intergenerational choir.
•    Sunday mornings the choir will rehearse at 9:30 to sing easy-to-
learn anthems in worship
•    Classes for preschoolers and infant care will continue throughout
July.
•    The “Roosters” classes will continue to meet throughout the month.

First Sunday Breakfast on July 5 - POT LUCK - 9:00 a.m. Fellowship
Hall
We'll start our Season of Renewal by bringing your favorite breakfast
dish to share


Wednesdays:
No adult choir rehearsal on Wednesday nights in July (1,8,15,22,29)
Ongoing Dinner and Programming for Preschoolers, Children and Adults

Children’s programming on Wednesday nights
“Water-U-Doing?” (missions curriculum) – June 3 to August 5
The main content will be material about “Watering Malawi” during the
summer

Adult programming on Wednesday nights
Will include . . . . missions emphasis on Watering Malawi and many
other things, too!

Other Summer Activities:
Glendale at the Lake – August 12
Fall Kick-Off for children’s activities – August 19

Vacation Bible School
Children will have two opportunities July to attend morning VBS at
partner churches:
Belmont United Methodist: July 13-17
Downtown/2nd Presbyterian: July 20-24
