The ManCode Minute | 011 - You Need a One-to-one Relationship with God   printer

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalm 18:2 NKJV

Whether you realize it or not, you possess a deep desire to experience a One-to-one connection with the Creator of the universe. God made you that way; it’s simply part of who you are; it’s woven into your DNA.

Your relationship with God is ongoing; it unfolds day by day, and it offers countless opportunities to grow closer to Him . . . or not: As each new day unfolds, you are confronted with a wide range of decisions: how you will behave yourself, where you will direct your thoughts, with whom you will associate, and what (or who) you will choose to worship. These choices, along with many others, are yours and yours alone. How you choose determines how your relationship with God will unfold.

“A sense of deity is inscribed on every heart.”
John Calvin

“God is not a supernatural interferer; God is the everlasting portion of his people. When a man born from above begins his new life, he meets God at every turn, hears him in every sound, sleeps at his feet, and wakes to find him there.”
Oswald Chambers
