A rare local performance of the First Amendment Center's presentation of "Freedom Sings!" You'll see the national touring program and see why it receives standing ovations every time it is presented.

Using musical performance, film, photographs and narration, the critically acclaimed 90-minute program tells the story of almost three centuries of banned, censored or controversial music in America and, through music, invites the audience to take a fresh look at the First Amendment and the impact of freedom of speech.  Although the program originated in Nashville, it is not often presented locally.  Next Wednesday offers a rare opportunity to see a powerful performance that will stay with you for a long time to come.
