Average Tuition and Fee Charges 2009-2010 |

In 2009-10, the average tuition and fees at private 4-year institutions
in the South was $3,761 higher than the average cost at a TICUA member
institution. The national average tuition and fees at private 4-year
institutions was $7,328 higher than the average tuition and fees at a
TICUA member institution. According to early reports, the average tuition and fees at a Tennessee independent college is expected to increase by 5.56% in 2010-11 and the dollar figure will remain well below both southern and national averages for 4-year private institutions. |
