We got a little lucky that this was his normal set, and we were able to get him out and back without any problem. We feel good about where he’s at. That’s what we were looking at today and he’s on the way to the Rebel like we’d been pointing him.”

Bob Baffert's SUPER NINETY NINE (Looking Good), prepping for next Saturday’s Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn Park, Sunday worked five furlongs in company with DEN'S LEGACY (Worth Watching) for Bob Baffert. Each was clocked in 59.80. Rafael Bejarano was aboard Super Ninety Nine, while Erick Lopez rode Den’s Legacy.
Danele Durham on TEXAS BLING's (Just In Case) Saturday breeze: “It was an absolutely fabulous work. A horse broke off in front of him and it gave him something to shoot for. He kept getting stronger and stronger and we caught him coming home in 12 and change and really strong on the end and gaining. He vetted 100 percent today and has been a beast in the shedrow. He’s had three workman-like works. Cliff is looking forward to it.”
