Your privacy is important to us. Once you close your browser, any cookie set by us simply terminates. We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our web site and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our web site, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
SiteMason takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via our website (such as a credit card number), that information is protected with the industry-standard encryption software - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our Account Information Manager, the lock icon on the bottom of web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, the servers that we store user information on are kept in locked cases in a secure facility. This facility is protected by a card-access system and a closed-circuit video surveillance system that is monitored 24 hours a day.
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our web site from those we know are under age 13, and no part of our web site is structured to attract anyone under 13.
You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by by clicking "View Account Information" on your Tool Manager page and correcting the information there. To protect your privacy and security, we also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
