Two New Sitemason 6 Features Land with More to Come
The oft-requested item-level reordering is now included in list tools. Galleries, News, and Store tools now allow drag-and-drop reordering of items. Practical applications include sorting a staff directory, structuring locations on a map, or ordering entrees in a menu.
Close on the heals of item reordering, another regularly requested (begged for?) feature is to include a Save button that keeps the current content panel open. We’ve added a Save & Close option in addition to the Save button which will keep the current panel open and save any changes. How did that take a year to add?
We also fixed an annoyance that randomly prompted users to confirm a panel close when content didn’t change.
With a full year from the launch of Sitemason 6 now behind us, we’ve learned a lot about how users engage with the platform, what improvements are needed, and have a better understanding of what the future holds. Thank you to everyone who has launched something on Sitemason 6 in the past year plus. Here’s to many more… and more features coming shortly!
