Heroes In Our Community

Imaginary heroes possess super human powers, wear exotic costumes and save the world from crafty villains who have developed elaborate plots to take over the world for their own selfish interests. When you were young, how often did you pretend to be a caped crusader, tasked to rid the world of some sinister force that was unleashed through the elaborate, dastardly plot of an evil genius?

Well, we have heroes at Sitemason and, while we can’t attest to their secret powers or any enhanced accoutrements to their wardrobes, we believe they are making the world a better place through their efforts as non-profits. Please read on to learn about the organizations that inspire us.

More Than Hosting

Cloud services AWS, support, and monitoringLets be honest, when an organization first gets started on a website, they rarely weigh the benefits of hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) vs installed software like WordPress or Drupal. They rely on their web designer to come up with the technical solution.

Sitemason, of course, is a hosted platform and has been since our inception way back in 2001. Part of our mission is to extol the benefits of the entire SaaS concept. So naturally, when we work with clients and partners, part of the initiation process is to explain the benefits of our hosted platform. If you're in the mood for a list, it's your lucky day. We present to you the top 5 benefits of our hosted content management platform. Read on to see the list...

Sitemason 6 Watch: Interface Font Icons

Screenshot of Sitemason's custom font icon set

For those of you keeping up with the Responsive Web Design movement and/or the progress on our new interface, we're extremely excited to show off our new font icons. If you're saying, "Wait a minute, did you say Font Icons? You must be confused." I'm so glad you pointed out my penchant for confusion, but in this case, I'm not crazy. Read on for an explanation, or checkout the full Font Icon Set if your idea of a good time is perusing Webdings. Now who's crazy!…

Sitemason 6 Watch: Talking APIs with Tim Moses

As part of our look in at the continued progress of the new version of Sitemason, we asked Tim Moses, lead developer and CEO, to tell us a bit more about the new API's inner workings.

No journalists or developers were harmed in the making of this interview.

Stop the Car, I Think I Just Saw an Incredible Website

Website screenshots stacked in a pileSitemason is not a big company, but so far this year we're feeling our oats. Thanks to our great partners, the sites being built on the Sitemason platform have never looked better. Today we wanted to show off some of the work we've been privileged to be a part of just this year...

Sitemason 6 Watch: Design Preview

As mentioned, a healthy four months ago, this year Sitemason has centered its focus on a new version of our eponymous content management platform. We are calling it Sitemason 6.

Welcome 2012, Welcome Byron Fanning

2011 was quite a year over here at Sitemason. It saw a number of changes for our little shop on West End. We launched our excellent commerce system, saw mobile apps explode, welcomed dozens of new customers, and watched revenues climb to new heights.

That's a lot of good news, we agree, but something got lost in all the hullabaloo...
